Bet this question has been asked 100 times.... anyway I,m wanting a nice set of full length headers to replace the shorties on my 72 454, I already have the flowmaster kit with the super 40s and 2.5 inch tubes, something nice, hugs the block and little or no mods to the car. and its gotta marry to the flowmaster kit The car is stock now with auto.

My son put Dougs, the coated ones on,they fit nice, not pounding on them to make them fit, look good also.I use the uncoated one on Olds, and they look good and stay that way over the years also, turn a little blue by the heads, but that's it. Great headers for the money.
