GREAT video considering it's 100 years old and the quality/weight of the equipment of that day. Note pitch stability and the yaw string on the canard.

Here is a film clip from the Austrian archives about the Wright Brothers
demonstrating their plane in Italy in 1909. What is even more fantastic
is there was an on-board camera on the Wright plane and the last part of
this film shows it. Wilbur Wright is at the controls on both of the
flights

growing up in dayton and being stationed in va beach let me go to kitty hawk every weekend.
i really appreciate what the brothers did.
wow from bicycle mechanic to controlled flight and then to the moon in less than 66 years wow! is this a great country or what!
now thats what we need more of to get this great country going again! we need more orville and wilburs today!

Very cool to watch that video, so I would guess that would be the first video ever shot on board a the first airplane.
