Good Morning,
Has any body had to replace this Piece? About a 3' long piece of Metal Molding between the Package Tray and The rear Window. On my 1970, its all rusted, with holes in it. I can't find a reproduction for sale anywhere, and it doesn't want to come off. It looks like I'll have to remove the Rear Window to get it out. Which probably needs to come out anyway.

i think that part is the exterior part between the trunk opening and the rear window. think OP was referring to the interior component. My 71 was missing this piece when I bought it so I will be trying to find one as well.

I think your right. it's the Piece that these attach to:

There is a Vintage Airplane Restoration Company that rents from me. I'm going to take the old piece to them and see if they can reproduce it out of Aluminum. If it's not too big of deal I'll have them make 2, and You can cover the shipping.;)
I don't think that piece is being reproduced, try calling TC member John Watts 402-674-3147.
What appears to be metal trim along the interior bottom edge of the rear window is part of the metal exterior sheet metal that's between the rear window and trunk lid. It is reproduced but requires a lot of work to replace, including drilling out many spot welds and spot welding the new one in. Then there's exterior paint work. Not a small job.

I was afraid of that. Thanks Von. It's got to be done though. Then the part that Joespc37 linked to is correct? it's hard to tell from the parts Website. This Car is coming off the Frame anyway.
