Just purchased QA1 Spanner Wrench and Thrust Bearing Kit and am surprised that this is not supplied with the coil over kit to begin with. It makes adjusting the ride height very easy. I did notice though that where the shock mounts to the spc lower ca, the metal was deformed from all the weight being consentrated on such a small area that the shock bolts to. I ended up adding 1/4 inch flat stock to this area to disperse the weight more. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this on their coil overs

I weleded in a plate to help disribute the load on mine. I didn't like the fact that all the weight is on that little bit of metal.

Hey Bill, Thanks for the reply. I really didn't think about it when I first installed the shocks but when I noticed the powder coating flaking in that area was when I noticed the metal being deformed. You did a really nice job of reinforcing that area.
