Pulled the car out of the storage unit and let the car warm for 5 mins or so and took off. Outside the storage unit there is a pretty sharp hill where you have to stop, the car sputterd a lil bit and chugged a bit as we went over the lip then it went ok. The next day I decided to go the opposite way and on a hill that was alot easier, the car nearly shut off and revided itself I had to back up to get out of traffic.
What do you guys suggest is the problem. Other than having those problems the car isnt sluggish and doesnt try to stall at stops. Im wondering if there is a poroblem with my carb.
I just got this car about a month ago and havent got to do any work on it yet. I am looking for a place to start.

Thanks for the info!
Brian

Sounds like the carb has the float set to low. Probably needs a good cleaning.

Brian; If it only does it uphill,if it is the carb,it would be that the float level is too high.Do you see any black smoke out the tailpipe(s) when this occurs? Steve
