is there such a thing as a restoration co. that does labels & decals that might reproduce the blue driver's door decal that originally came on the car?

or is this out of the quesiton due to forging of serial #'s.

i guess once that label has been removed, it's gone for good.

anyone know any different?

seems like it would be a great restoration request to get your own label back on the car if it has been removed or is in poor shape.

is this the "GM" sticker you are referring to?, or what does it say if it isnt?

Is this the GM Mark of Excellance decal? Then they have it. If its available then they make it!!!!!!!!!!!

Look in hemmings there was a guy selling decal but you had to send a copy of title or show some proff of ownership. He would put your vin on it then send it to you

I heard that Jim Osborn passed away about 3 or 4 months ago. He reproduced many decals & literature.

thanks for the hep so far....this particular decal was usually blue in color and mounted on the driver's door edge near the latch.

it contained the v.i.n., manufacturing date, etc.

really would add to the authenticity of a vehicle if they can be reproduced.
