before i want to throw myself off a bridge out of despair i thought i`d give it a try here....
I am looking for both left and right full quarter panel skins for my 1966 el camino.
So far i only found the right side and where ever i look, i can`t find a left side. It has to be a new panel so not from a donor car or scrapyard.
Does anyone know where i can find a left side??? Please???:hurray:

Best of luck on this one. A lucky find of a true Arizona car or something close is likely the best to expect. Someone does need to repo these for the 64-67 keepers. Of course as soon as you use the salvage part - a new one will pop up on E-Bay.

that will probably be the most likely scenario.... BUT.... i thought i`d give it a try. It would be THE winning ticket out of a lottery to find a new one.
But it never hurts to try it this way:)

If you'd settle for a 67 quarter that has been repaired on the bottom edge, contact Phillip (the moderator here) I just dropped off one at his place last week.

Don't give up, you never know what diligence will reward you with.
I bought
A. Two (2) perfect condition '66 Elco roofs, complete.
B. Two (2) perfect condition '66 quarters (left/right) with jambs.
I was about to give up, when I saw an ad in DRIVE magazine for the parts, the guy was local, and I met him at 1AM on a dark unlit side street next to a closed-down aircraft factory in line for the Long Beach High Performance Swap Meet. The parts were in a pile of cut-up cars crammed onto a decrepit trailer.
I only had a hundred bux, and he took it for all 4 parts.
Excellent condition, no rust, not a single dent, better than re-pop any day and twice on Sundays.
Always be searching and never give up.
You just never can predict where and when you'll suddenly have success.

ok that`s a sweet deal indeed....
I`m not planning on givin up that easy but the fact that i`m all the way in the netherlands does make it more difficult.
Oh well.... you never know. It was worth the shot right?
