Are you wanting to completely do away with the A/C but still have a heater?

Might do a search on "American Graffiti" as it has been discussed several times.

Yes. I would like to still have a heater if possible. The AC pump has already been removed. Just want to get rid of the bulky AC unit. Is there a way I can get rid of the AC and still have heat? Thanks for the help. Here is the pic of the AC unit. AC unit pic (http://pages.sbcglobal.net/ferdaman/_uimages/DVC00028.JPG)

There are a few possible ways to do this. One would be to buy (about $150) the American Grafitti box, which does what you want (heater only in a previously AC car), or you can cut up your old evaporator case and reshape it with fiberglass, or you can fabricate an all new box. American Grafitti sometimes places ads in the free classifieds on this site if you are interested in them.
