I will tell you. I had a issue with a SSBC A Body kit on a 1969 GTO. Long story short after many days of trying to bleed and trouble shoot the system for spongy pedal, we found out the caliper pistons were traveling in and out as the pedal was pushed and raised. Not push out and then release and maintain contact with the rotor, push out and retract all the way leaving air space between the pads and rotor!
They had to rebuild the calipers, something was wrong. The rebuild solved the problem. The owner of the car had bought the brakes a year and a half earlier while accumulating parts and working on the car as many of us do. They were brand new, but 1 1/2 years old from sitting on the shelf. They charged us to rebuild the calipers because they were 1 1/2 years old!
But they only get a chance to do that once!
That is another reason we are a all Wilwood shop.
We run Wilwood manual brakes on all our personal cars and dozens of customer cars.

Good question....also, do you sell the entire conversion kit? Spindles, bearings, cross drilled rotors, hoses...ect. I'm looking for an ENTIRE swap kit for my 66' drum car to non-power disc. I'd like all American made bearings if possible. My front wheels are 15 inch.
I like to order my parts from contributors to our forum. I like that you actively post your responses to various forums and members here. There are other vendors, but you are interactive with us....I like that.
Thanks :beers:

Tod, here is a link to our Total Car G Machine Brake Packages which include a free Wilwood master right now (a $200 option) which for manual brakes is killer.
