i have a 1972 heavy chevy w/build sheet w/protechto plate and the vins also show a tru 72 heavy it is about 90 to 95 % complete its ready for paint and needs interior finished it is a frame off resto. the org motor is 350 2bbl i used the same block but put 441 heads w/ 202 int.valves as the org.were cracked motor was rebuilt and balanced has a 350 turbo trans rebuilt, 12 bolt posi rear end i changed to an alum intake w/holley street aveng carb has new dist,radiator,fuel tank and sender,all front end steering and suspension is new i changed it from drum to disc up front has new floorboards from firewall to under rear seat and complete trunk pan full qtrs,fenders new wheel wells front and new inner and outer wheel wells on rear has a cowl hood non func.no a/c org color was autum orange? burnt orange? i know it would be worth more to complete it but income is down to far right now cause of the economy would just like some of youre oppinions of what u guys think if there are any questions just post them and i'll answer them

It sounds like you have put a lot of work into the car. Without pics to see how it looks now, it would be very difficult to put a value on it.

As you stated, since it is an incomplete project, it will hurt the value.

Since doing a good paint job can be very expensive and interior work isn't cheap either, it is going to be hard to value the car. Given the weak market for musclecars, especially if they are unfinished and require a large amount of money to finish, you probably have more in your car than someone will be willing to pay. Unless you really need the money, you should probably keep it until the economy is better and/or until you have finished it. Either way you will have better luck selling and get more out of it or keep it and have a great car to drive and show off!
