its about 1/2 hour from me. Heck I just scored a free '68 383 magnum and a '68 440 magnum short block for free off craigslist wednesday night, Might as well leave it for someone else. (I really would love to check it out, but I smell scammer on this one.) When I run free parts ads, I always leave a phone number. jim

The guy's story is strange but if the casting numbers check out, it could be a great buy.

back in the day, guy advertised a 426 hemi for $300 in the dandy dime newspaper (paid for ad). all they did was leave a address, Of course the address was non existant. I was driving up and down the street, another guy noticed me and turns out he was doing the same thing.
ANother time a guy was advertising a 68 firebird on craigslist for $500 with pictures (basic needs everything project) left a address. My friend pretty much knew where it was at, so went and checked it out. Turns out people just kept bugging this guy to sell it. Finally someone couldnt take no for a answer and posted this ad with his address. He said he kept getting people knocking on his door all weekend. He finally called the cops, they said they could find out who put the ad on by tracing back the email addy through craigslist. jim
