I ran a 10.96 last year with a set of 3.73's (the original equipment R&P from 1972!)in the ol'Dana 60.
I ran accross a really nice looking set of used Richmond street 4.56's at a swap meet last month for a whopping total of $40. I also bought a new shim kit and pinion nut, bringing the total for the swap to $80.......geesh, I am CHEAP!
They may be great; or they may not survive the first clutch dump. I will report as soon as Spring gets here!
I am hoping to be able to use all 5 forward gears this year. I could only get into 4th with the 3.73's in the 1/4 mile.

That's just what I was thinking, or going to a overdrive trans and keep my 4.10 gear. I might do that in two years I'm saving for Air Ride now.

12 bolt is getting rebuilt right now with 3.31's. My old one had 3.73's. Definately a lot better on gas and cruising.
