Guys doing my 69 Z on the side just finishing paint on this numbers matching 52B 69 SS396. Gonna be a nice car pics don't do it justice. TC Also came to the rescue for SS emblem placement on the fenders (replacements). Stripe is painted on and you can't feel them :cool:

Not my car. Personally I don't like 69 Chevelles :D Just thought it was looking great quality wise. Color matches one of my other Camaros.

Not to question their work, but isn't the 69 SS side strip supposed to go all the way to the quarter extension? Looks like it falls pretty short in those pics...

Great! It will be nice to have another 69 on the road! Mine is going on the road officially this spring after 7 years of frame-off resto-mod. Lot's of Chevelles coming back to life!

From what I see Ben, the stripe is too short. The paint quality is there but they are not restorers. I wonder if they can "correct" the stripe.....

That's the problem with painted-on '69 side stripes. I've not seen one yet that looks right, and they're not easy to correct like decals are. More durable and longer lasting perhaps but.... Anyway, nice color though.:thumbsup:

My stripes fall short plus they are the wrong ones.

I would like to comment on how wet that car looks. Looks like 2-3 coats of clear alone...at least 2-3
