: Serious drug problem in PA!
bb1966chevelle Feb 13th, 09, 12:31 AM I was searching online tonight (still) looking for a stock, steel 66 Malibu hood to cut up for my car. After not having any luck, I started brousing the CL Autos section just to see if there were any Chevelles for sale.
Either theres a serious drug problem here, or I need some of what everyone else is smoking! .......

has2chevelles Feb 13th, 09, 1:20 AM I live in PA as well and your right....There is a serious bird seed sniffing problem here!!!! The PA rust belt claims many of these cars, but people won't let reality set in that the car "WAS" nice at one time,--but now is a field cats home......."I have a chevelle so it must be valuable" runs rampant around these parts. AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!! LOL
dirtrocker Feb 13th, 09, 4:34 AM Truth be told, about 2 years ago they would've got their asking prices. They just don't realize things have changed.

I am probably more of a fan for the 72 Chevelle then any other year. But $4200 for that? I had a complete unmolested 72 Chevelle in good running, driving condition, PA inspected, and far less rust then usual, and had a hard time getting $2500 for it last year.
Just like mentioned above, just because it is ( or once took the shape ) of a Chevelle, it must be worth gold! Thanks Barret Jackson! :o
I emailed the guy and offered him $500 for it, and the same for that 66 Chevelle!
