My ballparks for BB's up here: $500-1100
396/402 get a slight nod over 454's.
454 most common
I saw a 402 (truck) go for 375 recently (didn't run).
1) Good Codes= more money (most cores are not perfromance motors, truck,etc...) Early Date codes = more $ too
2) Running and driving engines in car always get more $- piece of mind for both parties involved.

Very rarely do I see a BB going for over 1500. And they usaully have the TH400 with them.
Call me crazy but 2-3 years ago, any BB would sell instantly at the swap meets and classic ads.

Now, becasue of GAS (maybe?) people aren't jumping to buy 'em. But the parts biz is slow anyways, selling any part is harder now.
