Hey I just rebuilt my Holley 4150DP, the car runs great; however when i open the secondaries the accelerator pump only trickles fuel out the top of the carb. when i pump the throttle a few times it shoots out. When i "rebuilt" it I didn't replace any of the accelerater pump parts. However i did replace the diaphram. I have all the part to take it apart and replace the insides but i hate messing with the gaskets.

Any thoughts on a possible problem will be appreciated.

There is a small check ball, or needle, under the squirter nozzle. If it is missing, the fuel will run back out of the accellerator pump circuit and you have to pump it a couple of times to get it back to normal. Make sure you did not lose this part when you went through the carb. If you take the secondary squirter off, and turn the carb upside-down, the needle should fall out. If it's not there, they are fairly easy to get.
