What type of adhesive do you use to attach the replacement brushed aluminum inserts on an automatic floor shift console? Also, where can it be purchased? I have read thru many of the posts and cannot find the answer. I would also be interested in any tips and tricks that others have used to obtain good results. Thanks.

Brad, I used contact cement. It works great. You can buy it from your local hardware store.

I used 3M plastic emblem &trim adhesive, worked like a champ. Use a thin layer on the top plates and make sure none squirts out the side an you will be set.

Thanks for all the response. I ended up using the contact cement and that worked well. The after-market brushed aluminum inserts had to be trimmed slightly to fit the console castings, but the job ended up looking great. I used a dremel tool to make the modifications.
