Well i just bought myself a 72 Chevelle malibu it was a guys project car that he hasn't finished has a 396 in it and a turbo 350 trans. It was getting built to be a drag car. But for me i plan to tear it completly down and do a ground up restore on it. Looking into the Pro touring/ Restro Mod goal here. want a car i can take out and drive a long distance and mabey autox or drag race some. It will be i estimate a 5 to 10 year project. Not sure on what drive train i will do yet. Debating on rebuilding whats in it or dropping a LS based motor in it with a six speed. currently has a 12 bolt rear end with 4.88 gears they will be replace with 3.42's
As for myself i'm a Rancher from Mid South Dakota I autox and road race as a stress releiver I also have a turbo hayabusa i sometimes get to ride depending on how the work week goes and if i don't have an autox that myself and the misses seem to enjoy doing. My autox weapon is a SSM class 99 corvette.
This forum looks awesome i have been roaming for awhile but figured i'd join up so i can get all the benifits hopefully i don't ask to many questions that have been asked before since i am familar with a search function and will use it before i ask the question.
