Is there any way to adjust the cowl door on the SS hood. When its running the door doesnt fit with the hood at all. any help?

Alwhite00 Feb 12th, 09, 5:22 PM You can loosen the 4 attaching bolts from underneath the hood and adjust it to center it and also add shims to lower it in the hole. Make sure when you center it that it does not rub at the front or back when opening. The ElCamino people removed all of their tech articles. bbmusclecars427 Feb 12th, 09, 6:00 PM I centered my cowl flapper door from the top (with the 4 bolts loose on underside) and used strips of 3/4" release tape to hold it in place until I tightend the 4 bolts,checked it for operating clearence.(had to do this a couple of times to get it where I wanted it.):thumbsup: | ||
