This 66 has 13817 trim tag but apparently someone swapped a 13617 VIN plate and seller has title for the 13617 number and he's surprised it hasn't sold?

Gentleman may be confused about the 13817 frame stamping...partial VINs never include the series/model, only the model year/plant/sequence number so there are no 13817 numbers to match. :confused:

Ya know, I think you are right Dale.. it's not always clear to people that this HIDDEN VIN on Frame does not include the Series/Model so I think for years people have just heard.. " VIN is on the Frame... " and they naturally conclude this will look like what they see on their door pillar. :noway:

Just as many still believe the 13817 in the trunk lip area, means it is definitely an SS.

Maybe we all need to be more clear about what is meant by Hidden VIN
