Anybody else in the cold states getting a nice winter break right now? This is nice, it is over 40 degrees out and beautiful. My dog is out running around, the ice is melting, the snow is quickly going down in the yard, I love it. It is warm enough out to wash the vehicles and get the salt off of them.

A little later I am taking the kids and dog to the local dog park and letting him run off some of his built up winter boredom.

I know it isn't going to last long, but this weekend is supposed to be nice, and that is at least long enough to get a taste of spring coming eventually.

Jeff its 66 degree's here today without a cloud in the sky.....Good day to air everything out. Last couple of days its been dang cold for here and I hate the cold any more. Enjoy

I know what you mean, Jeff. We've been having some cold fronts blow through the past 2-3 weeks, only getting up to the low-mid 70's. Yesterday, it cleared up, mild tradewinds, beautiful day. So I took the afternoon off from work, and rode my bike around town for about 3 hours taking care of some small business I've been wanting to do for a while now. Then I came home, washed up the Firebird and the wife's Solstice, and took the 'bird out cruisin' for about 3 hours last night. :thumbsup:

Upper 40's here. Downspout next to the house, goes down under driveway, is overflowing and there's still 6" of snow on the roof. Probably frozen underground. Just pulled the hose out, going try to peel some of the salt and mud off the truck. Just enough so you can tell it's black and not light gray.

55 and sunny here in IL. Makes you want to go for a drive, but the roads are a sloppy mess. Snow is going fast!!!!!!

It's 52* and sunny here, but I'm working...... At least the snow is melting down, I'm running out of places to put..

They're calling for 40 today, but its not going to make it. 34 and windy right now. But thats +40 from what its been for the last week. Drove the truck across lake champlain to Vermont this morning. But counting the days till I can get the car out. :yes:

Exactly, What Darren feels in Hawaii is about how it feels here right now. It may be a nice 80 degees there, but here, where it has been 30 below for quite a while, +40 feels about as nice as 80.

Now I have spring fever really bad...........:(

darn near 55 here. thought about taking the chevelle out, but to sloppy out. and oh yes have to work on left front brake, popped the front wheel clynder. leaking. does'nt stop very good as it is. pulls kinda hard to the left if you have to stop quick.

Got up to 40 yesterday, last Sat. it hit 40 along with 55- 60 mph wind gusts. Up here I'd say we're only looking at 2 1/2 more months of winter.:rolleyes:

I have spring fever really bad also, it's been a LONG winter!

The Daytona 500 is next weekend, the preraces this weekend/week, that's a sure sign of spring! :)

While I was driving around doing errands today, I had the sunroof open... :D 40's is a little slice of Heaven.

Still 41* @ 8pm for the start of the Shootout! :D

All the same, I'm keeping my stove running.....

I wash my truck all winter in my heated garage...... I don't care if it gets dirty again, if the sky ls clear, she gets a bath...

It was a balmy 47 in Maine yesterday. A llittle snow and ice melted ,but it quickly dropped back down. It was 10 when a got up this morning.

If our weather goes east to you, you will warm back up. Forecast fo r us for tomorrow is 45 degrees. It is cooler today, but nothing worse than sweatshirt weather.

57* tues! The WS6 is coming out and rain tonight. Bye bye salt and no snow after it!!

Weather isnt bad around here either. Little windy though but we sure have had a bit of snow melt the last few days.
