I would really like to have something like this!! Love the classic look of this old truck and it would be really cool to drive this around to local car shows. Looks to be in great shape from the pics!

i love work trucks, and that would be a good project. i would expect it to be more than a carb. problem. that is probably a 1 barrel carb. which would take all of about 15 minutes to rebuild. so, expect the worse, and hope for the best.

i always love the ads, ran when i parked it 104 years ago, or only needs carb. a real car guy doesn't leave $ on the table, and anybody knows, if vehicles are identical, the running one will always bring more $.

i would have something like that in a minute, but my driveway is too short to accomidate it. i hope to one day own a fire truck, and i have a 59 ford short bed in my front yard just so i have an old truck to look at. it runs, but i've left the surface rust, and bent up tail gate on it, just for character. it looks ruff, but runs great....

Looks like a steal, wish I was closer, there was a nice running fire truck (56 I think) that showed up last month in Texas on CL. It was fully equipped (hoses, ladders, lights siren, working pump system)for around 4K. Would have been an easy restore, just paint and tlc.

I collect Tonka trucks - That way I can have all the old trucks I want - Logging rig with logs on the trailer, Fire truck (pumper), Pick-up that holds business cards in the bed and tows a boat trailer with a mahogany runabout.
I also have one of the old Texaco Buddy L fire trucks that has the water cannon on the back!
Fun stuff - I love trucks!!
My real trucks are: 1963 Corvair Rampside, 1966 Suburan, 1983 S-10 Tahoe 4x4.
and of course my el Camino.
