Really cold! Thanks for the info. I need to get a motor shipped to me but I don't know how much to give for weight. Right now I wish it was 100 pounds, 900 sounds expensive. Thanks though. Anyone else?

I read somewhere a while back they weigh 750 pounds. Seems like GMPP, SDPC, or Pace or somebody like that would list shipping weight.

Engine alone is only 650 or so with aluminum intake.

Thanks for the info 'yall. I have been looking for a suitable "replacement" for my long gone original LS5 motor. I have a build sheet for the car but the engine in it was from a 75 chevy truck when I bought it from a friend in 1992. If I find the right one I would ship it from wherever.

Simple solution.....ship all the parts separately. :D
