I have a buddy, 72 chevelle, bought a 509 backed by the 2yr 24,000mile warranty. Well long story short his mom accedently burnt the warrenty card along w/ the 611hp 612lb/ft dyno sheet. Hes got the car going after 3 rearends and two transmissions later, two months into it breaks the crank, bill mitchell says no way were helping w/o that card, even though they have records of transaction. He rebuilds it thinking the converter was balooning under torque, buys a $1000 dollar neal chance converter. Two months later, cracks the case on the tranny, grabs the flexplate, HUGE endplay. smoke the motor again. Now on his 3rd tranny and 3rd rebuild, they figure out the the tranny pump had way too much pressure, tore it apart thought they fixed the problem. nope fast forward two months it's smoked again!! all rebuilds done buy known people blueprinted and everything. Sorry for the novel but any Ideas!!!??????!!!

When I run into a situation such as this I find the only thing that will work is an Exorcism.
As it is a car a proper Exorcism must include the use of beer.

My story with BM is almost the same, except I had the warranty card, the "inspector" validated piston skirt/cylinder wall scoring, way big side clearances and a bunch of other stuff. Warranty company is a scam op in Michigan. Got an insurance fraud class action spinning up, but they take time. Your story is classic mitchell. I like emailing them and asking them why they are still talking about Scotty Richardson in 2000 - LOL. I give em the answer -cause they ain't sellin' too many crates anymore - they kept flying apart and word's gotten around. Richardson doesn't mention word one about them anywhere on any of his sites. Guess he learned his lesson too....
Email me if you like - I'll give you the gory details. Bottom line, BM's getting desperate for a buyer or merger and nobody's biting. They all know the deal. GM won the crate wars (like, who couldn't have predicted THAT one), so now it's back to quality semi-custom builds using quality products. BM can't stand in the same ring with Dart, Brodix, etc. When we took my 427 sb apart, it was heeelarious what we found - I keep trying to get my website up to show it all, but the tech business is rising again so that's where my time goes...
