my friend was driving his car to my house and when he parked his car it shut off and did not want to start any more so we put on a new coil and it started and stayed running for about 45 seconds and burned the coil again so kept puting coils on and it kept on burning the over and over dose any one know whats causing the problem plese any help would be great

The third gen site should have the answer. I think the coils have a controller. My friends Caddy Northstar had a coil pack controller go out, it even smoked wires.
