I bought this setup for my '70 Chevelle. I am converting from drum to disk. Does this look like a stock disk setup that would work for my car? I cannot find pics, diagrams or anything in the assembly manual that will clearly show the assembly and parts makeup of a stock set of disk brakes. Here are the parts for one side:

Thanks for any help. By the way the rotor is 11" dia 2 pc.

That looks like the right stuff to me. Separate pieces for spindle, caliper bracket and steering knuckle.

Thanks. Any idea where I can find a diagram for assembly, or pics of exactly how these pieces go together? I think I know, but I want to be absolutly sure so I only have to do it once. My assembly manual does not address this.....

it's pretty straight forward and everything only really fits one way- just put the dust shield and caliper bracket on so that they are towards the rear of the car, with the steering arm pointed towards the front.

Thanks for verifying this for me. It is amazing how difficult it has been to find clear detailed diagrams or photos of a stock '70 disk setup. Thanks again. Can you tell me where the best place is to buy new bolts for assembling my front end as well as the rest of the car?

when i redid my Nova, i got all my grade 8 hardware from a magical place we have up here called "Mills Fleet Farm"- they sell nuts, bolts, and washers by the pound, so every bolt in my front end cost me less than $10 or so.
if you have something like that down there- they are sort of a farm supply place on steroids- then try there. if not, then find a good hardware store and buy everything there.
now that i said that, i will now predict that within 2 posts someone will post up to tell me i am stupid for using that stuff, and tell you that you have to buy the "correct" bolts from a resto place and pay $50 or more for it. they will say something about Chinese grade 8 being different than real grade 8 and blah blah blah.. but the fact is that the stuff i used works, and i believe there are a few other guys around this site that got their hardware there, too.
