My power steering pump would squeek when i turn, so i put more fluid in it, now everytime i park after driving it there is a puddle of fluid under the car. I cant quite see where it is leaking from or what caused it. I have never had this problem its never leaked or squeeked before....anyone know what could have caused this

Where is the puddle of fluid situated? Is it under the steering box? Usually, the pitman shaft seal is the culprit, but I've had the power steering hoses leak as well. My return hose developed a pinhole from years of chafing against the side of the steering box. Check to see where the fluid is dripping and you'll find the leak.

If you can't find it, take it to a shop that can add a floresent dye to the P/S. You can use a trans dye for this purpose, then check for the leak with a black light. The dye will show up bright yellow.

A "squeek" does not necessarily mean it needs more fluid. Is the belt slipping? Belts can slip causing a loud squeek, especially when you are turning. My first thought would be to tighten the belt or replace it. If you over-fill the ps pump reservoir, it will definitely leak out.

Or a leak around the shaft, throwing fluid on the belt? If it always leaks down to the level of the shaft, that may be the problem.

I had a bad squeek in my Camaro, and it went away after I changed the pump. If the pump is bad, rebuilt pumps are available fairly cheap from Auto Zone, Advance etc.

Some pumps require a special tool to remove the pulley. If you purchase a new pump, check into this if you don't already have the tool. Some places like Autozone have loaner tool programs...free...just give them a deposit until you return the tool. Make sure your connections are tight on re-assembly and follow the instructions to purge air from the system ...
