I've been researching and compairing upgraded UCA and LCA's for improved cornering/handling. For other's doing doing the same. Most of you looking, probably ran across this; http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/techarticles/0708ch_chevy_chevelle_rear_control_arms/index.html
Maybe save a few folks a little time. Currie arm aren't mentioned, but most of the others are.

Have you considered "boxing" your stocl LCA's? It's a simple weld job and will save a chunk of cash.;)

Thanks for the reply. Yes, boxed lowers about 20 years ago, think when I got rid of the ladder bars. Mr.G slapper bars, air shocks at 100PSI, solid aluminum bushings, other idea's I won't admit to. Some of the other old timers might remember " drive some finish nails in to the rubber bushings" wheel hop antidote?
First 1/4mile pass, New England Dragway 1978, to slow to say, even if I remembered.
Have fun with your Chevelle!

Kirk: Now you're pushing my button.
How about this: Walking between the bleachers in 1979 to see Dyno Don in a Fairmont and Grumpy's Toy (Larry Lombardo Monza) at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, Wisconsin WI. (yes, it's DRAGAWAY). Next was Garlits & Muldowney. Then an H2O2 dragster!!!!

Can't resist dropping in here. My first pass was also at New England Dragway, spring 1973, and I remeber the details, 14.1/92. On a Kawasaki Mach 3.

How time has flown by!
