Does the black on the rear panel on a 67 end under the top molding or does it end at the trunk lid weather seal? What I am saying here is there any body color between the top rear panel molding and the trunk weather seal? This is the last part to paint on the car. I have seen it both ways and do not know what is correct.

This is how my Atlanta built car was originally done. I copied it exactly when the car was re-painted.

Thanks alot for the photo. It does answer my question on how this should be painted. I had seen cars painted with color there and cars with black there with different masking arrangements on the sides. The cars with body color there seem to show up more, especially if it is a light color and does not look right. Hard to find a 67 that has not been repainted 42 years later in the area I live in. Thanks again.
