Hey guys,

I remember when these first came out they were a nightmare, have they improved? Any one bought one recently? What can you guys tell about the fit and finish? gaps, contour, waves, trim line up?

I bought a 67, 2" -2 1/2":confused: steel Cowl hood from Ausleys Chevelle last spring. The body shop was real happy with it and said it fit real well.:D I do remember it had a "Goodmark" box around it.


FWIW, I had to buy new hood hinges. After, about two hours of myself and the body man messing with it before the new hinges, we were both PO'd. After the new hinges, it fit like a charm. And it only took about 20 min. to fit it.

We have test fitted the 66 hood and it fits fine. Plus its cheaper at Ausleys.
