: WIW... 2 15x7 Cragar rims

I'm contemplating buying slightly used rims/tires from a friend. Selling the current tires, keeping the rims.
The Rear rims are 15x8s. Fit great, look great.
The Fronts are 15x7- and unfortunatly after test fitting, they fit, but don't fill the wheel well enough for my tastes. I really want 15x8's on the front too...

So i'm trying to decide if its worth buying 2 new 15x8s for the front and selling these 15x7s, or just skipping the whole deal, and look for something else later.

So what do you think 2 used, but in awesome/like new condtion 15x7 Cragar S/S rims are worth? No rust, no pits, no curb rash, not even any gouging around the lugnut washer areas.
Would $100each be unrealistic for these? I think they are about $140each new.

Just trying to guage weather or not its worth the hassle...

100 sounds reasonable to me if they are a couple of years old. If they are the newer ones that are made in China, I wouldn't buy them. Check to see if they have Made In USA stamped in them.

My current Cragers were made in China, the last set I bought in 1985 were made in Japan, which is better? How long ago were they made in the U.S.?

The ones I bought 3 years ago for my Nova clearly have Made in USA stamped in them. They came from Summit. The set I bought last year from a member at Steves Nove Site are clearly stamped Made in USA. They are approx 2 years old. We are talking about Cragars, I don't know if your Cragers are the same. Are they a knock-off of the original wheels?
