For my 70? After reading the ACC thread about poor fitment, what's the verdict on who makes/sells the best replacement carpet?

ACC fit well in my 70. Very little trimming. Probably still the best out there.

What about Year One carpet? I'm sure someone has it.

No idea. From Year One it's $160, and from ACC $230 unless I'm looking at something wrong.

I will not buy carpet until a good fitting one is made in the US.:yes:

Ausleys sells ACC for 129.00 and Trim Parts for 119.00.

The Trim Parts carpet I tried to put in my 69 was junk/very poor fitting. The ACC I put in my 68 was just as bad, and the companys who make them don't care. I tried to get them too listen, but got no where.

So basically we're just out of luck when it comes to carpet, price regardless.

Well, my black carpet is purple and brown near the transmission hump. I need to do something. Who makes a good carpet dye?

I think Rid dye.

I bought my carpet from Year One and it was ACC. Fit pretty good, except had a little extra in tunnel. I have a bench seat so it covered fine.
