Alwhite00 Jan 31st, 09, 9:34 AM Boy, That brings back memories - Back in 84 when I was 15 a guy did that to a 67 GTO (real one:clonk:) and it was red so it looked really close to that one, Not sure what ever happend to it.

bowtietim Jan 31st, 09, 11:34 AM I kinda like it. Its not like I would build one but it is different. I like it better than that elco that was raised on 26's. Hey, just think about it this way, this guy found a way to drive his velle year round instead of whinning about how he has to wait until spring. Just kidding frozen guys. :D I like the step he had to build just to get into the trunk.

RyanNilcea05 Jan 31st, 09, 12:45 PM Is that a ten bolt?
317millhand Jan 31st, 09, 1:11 PM It has s10 running gears.
vegadan Jan 31st, 09, 5:00 PM ill put a bid on that ,i never see that at a show,looks cool,wouldnt build it but i would drive it and improve on it
TreySmith Jan 31st, 09, 9:04 PM It actually looks good compared to most.. But all you would have to do is just put it on a different frame, and then you would have a normal chevelle. Or you could just lower it, then have a badass drag car, as you would have a ****load of traction in 4x4.. That is how those diesel guys run 10's..

arkitekt1 Feb 4th, 09, 12:25 PM I didn't like it at first, but then I thought it would be fun to drive in the winter while my '69 is sitting in storage.
Imagine a guy on a snowmobile seeing that thing bearing down on him. :D
Highway Star Feb 4th, 09, 12:26 PM It needs a big brush guard, a winch, and a big set of lights.

IMO that look is better suited to the Camino, I wouldn't mind cruising around in that in the winter months. http://www.powwows.com/gathering/images/smilies/naughty2.gif
arkitekt1 Feb 4th, 09, 6:25 PM I like the El Camino much better. :thumbsup:

Bill Brock Feb 14th, 09, 3:12 AM That's sad. I would have been tempted to buy it for the price it sold for just to save the car.

sg5492 Feb 14th, 09, 10:24 AM I like the El Camino much better. :thumbsup::yes:
Derek69SS Feb 14th, 09, 11:42 AM If it was local, and 1/4 the price I'd buy it and drive the heck out of it.
When people would ask and/or act pissed, I'd tell them it's a real SS, and that I'm doing another one out of a '70 LS6 I found in a barn. l:)
