Does anyone know how to get metal particals out from a carb (Rochester 2brl)? I guess from installing the new self tapping fuel inlet nut caused some metal shavings to get lodged into the carb causing the carb to flood.

sounds like some is stuck on the needle and seat
causing the fuel not to shut off...pull the carb.
top and check that..use a mag.to pick up any other metal..
