I had the dash out of my car to paint and restore it and when I put it back I didn't use those two support rods that go from the firewall to the dash. (I lost them or something).
Could this be contributing to the cowl shake or dash board shake I get when I cross large ruts, train tracks etc? I don't remember as much shake as before, but now the rest of the car is smoother too, so.....
