For you budget how about a mild pump gas 9.2 compression bbc(475cid) crate motor with more umph that idles decent that should have enough vacuum for power brakes with approx 571hp/588lbs trq for $4,895?

Search this ebay item # 280307806649 to see VORTECPRO'S motor.

Mark has proved his motor combo's quality and his integrity here in t/chevelle so we know he is the real deal.

His motors are all dyno tested to breakin cam/motor/and check for any leaks and or issues etc prior to shipping so the motors are good to go & you get no surprises when the motor arrives .

If you must have a sbc i am sure Mark could work something out in that same price range that would have plenty of power/trq.

Mark's phone # is 719-650-1609

Tell mark Scott from t/chevelle rec you to him.
