I just bought a refurbished 12 bolt rear for my 67 and it came with new disc brakes installed. The rear end is from a 70 SS. The calipers are from a 79-81 trans-am. The drivers side caliper is mounted on the front side of the axle and the pass side caliper is on the back side. I'm looking for suggestions and hopefully pics on how to hook up the Ebrake cables with this conversion. I thought about just hooking up the drivers side ebrake, if both sides are too complicated, because I do not want a big mess of cable and brackets under the car.

The brakes do look good though.

I am in the same sort of perdikament. Ask Pete. I think his name on here is Pestwagon? If need be he can make you a e-brake set up.

Nope, not me!! I did a AFTERMARKET (Baer) kit on my 66 12 bolt rear end... Both calipers should be towards the front to fit the cables, so the driver side is at 8 o'clock position and passenger side caliper is at 4 o'clock position. I boxed my lower arms and had to slightly notch the lower control arms since I had the rear narrowed 1 inch on each side. I absoltely love the results though-well worth it..
