HEY YA'LL
I AM BUILDING A 1967 CHEVELLE AND I HAVE FOUND A PAIR OF BUCKET SEATS THAT I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY CAME OUT OF. THEIR IS A INSET ON THE REAR COVER WITH CARDBOARD AND MATERIAL.
I WANT TO RECOVER THESE SEATS WITH 67 FOAM & 67 COVERS
I WANT TO TAKE THE HEAD REST OFF. THE RELEASE BUTTON IS FINE WHERE IT IS. THESE ARE THE PHOTOS OF THE SEATS
THANKS
BOBBY:)

I think you could recover them and leave the headrests off...

I would say that these started life in an 1971 Cutlass or 442 Oldsmoblie. The patteren on the back rest leads me in that direction.

Get the correct tracks for them. Then recover them. No need to replace the foam on the backs as it is the same unless it's been modified. The seat bun is slightly different, but can be made to work. Just omit the headrests.

I agree with 136679ss, those are some strange looking seat tracks. Do they match the mounting holes on your floor pan?
