YEA  or NAY :noway: ??? For a street car? I've read both pros & cons.

PRO - Rubber hoses expand with pressure and Stainless don't. But how much pressure does a stock disc brake M/C produce?? Is it enough to matter on a street car?

CON - Stainless lines do not bend or flex as well as rubber. Does it matter? Also read that they put more stress on the fitting because they don't flex.

:hurray: Any thoughts? :hurray:

The braided stainless lines on my Chevelle seem to flex as much as needed to turn the wheels all the way both directions. No problems after 3 seasons mostly street.

The three stainless braided flex brake hoses on my '70 have been on the car for years...never any issues.
I trust them more than the OEM style, stock rubber ones.
IIRC, they are the Russell Street Legal Brake Line Kit.
