I just got my new check valve for my cowl induction hood this past week, and decided to throw it on. After I put that in, I took it for a ride and my secondarys werent opening up till around 4 grand.. Well to make a long story short I think I got that problem takin care of, but now that that problem has stopped, now my car like missfires when I first push on the gas pedal!? I checked the plug wires there all on.. What else should I look for? Also I put a new throttle cable on because mine broke, and now when Im driving my car it seems to launch forward like im stepping on and off the gas!!! Its not a really noticeable launch but non the less is noticable to me. I have no idea whats going on. any help would be very much appreciated.

1. Check for binding, too much spring tention or smoothness of operation in the new cable.
2. Where did you get the vacuum for the cowl?
3. Check Yer Timing.

Hope this helps...

timing is fine.
vacuum from the intake manifold.
The cable is bunched up alittle because the qjet's cable holder is close to the firewall so it is binding up a bit.
what else???
