Will the 14x7 Rally wheels fit with the single piston disc brakes?

Thanks, Tom

Nope! Will need 15 inch wheels.

i have stock GM 14" steel wheels on my 72 (with stock single piston calipers and discs) they clear. The question might have been phrased: what TYPE of 14 inch wheels will fit my car?

There are some 14" rallys that will fit stock GM disk brakes. I have 2 on the front of my 67 4 dr. 14 x 6. XG code is one that will fit.

I've seen threads here that have shown the factory 71 14x7 rallye utilized with an 11" front disc brake. Do some searching, you'll see photo graphic evidence.

I have Wheel Vintique's 14x7" Rally wheels on my factory disc brake '70 Sedan.
Fit just fine.
I bought these specifically so I could run either trim rings/rally caps or the stock 14" hubcaps...depending on the mood. ;)
Plus, the added handling & stability of a wider than stock wheel.

I figured the '67 - '68 4 piston caliper cars had special wheels to fit discs at the very least like some other makes did, but thought that maybe they all fit no problem. I believe the '69 - '72 style is 10.5" right?

Good to know. I'm trying to help the kid of a buddy of mine that died when the kid was 2 years old. Now the kid's 19 and has his dad's first car - a '68 Camaro. We scored a good deal on the set of Rallys with caps and rings.

When we get ready to switch over to discs, we can just get 2 new wheels. :D
