Hi all, I'm new to the club. This place is nice.

Anyways, on my 68 malibu a couple days ago, I went to close the hood (easy as all the other times), and went to open it again a couple days later and long behold, i can't get it open. When I have the hood pulled up as far as i can and pull the lever, it feels like it is grinding against something. But, what soever, i can not get the hood open now. If it is any help for an answer, the back of the hood is sitting about half an inch above the fenders (i havn't gotten to reseating the hinges).

I had open and closed the hood lots of time before this time with no problem. Any suggestions?
