Not a huge fan of the wheels. Looks like it was well done but seems high on the price.

I agree with you on the wheels, the price and that it looks well done.
Thats a tough car to sell.

Thats a tough car to sell.

what makes you say that?

Jason, price is too high IMO as well. I was thinking around 8kish, wheels might be new but it's an old style. Really hard to tell from the pics, interior we need to be mint to approach his price, as that seems to be the hardest parts to find in good condition. Look over on Maliburacing for rough pricing on them.

what makes you say that?

the price, the wheels,12 to 1 compression and the economy.
And for the same kind of money,I could buy a nice 87 Grand National that will only appreciate in value.

You would have to really want an 81 Malibu done up like that..its a very limited market car. But,for 8K like you mentioned..then it would be better deal for the buyer.
FWIW,There is a local 79 Malibu for sale with a fuel injected 496 in it for $8000...and the car is nice..

these cars can look really cool when they are done right. this car is kinda ghetto looking though. the goofy paint, the wheels, sits too high. i like the driveline combo though.

the $12k is pure dreaming. i guess that's how much he needs for the camper. i'd say this is more like a $5k car and at that it would take some time to sell i imagine.
