After driving for 5-10 minutes it sounds like my speedometer squeaks.
It does this between 20-40 mph. From 20-40 as I accelerate it gets faster and louder. After 40 mph quiets down.
The noise is defiently coming from inside the dash area so I suspect its the speedo cable connection to the gauge.
Any suggestions to quiet it down. I thought about lubbing it up with some 3-1 oil.
Also, is it difficult to get to and take apart for the lube?
By the way, speed gauge works just fine, no jumping or sticking. Just noisy
Thanks
Bruce
