Good cores around $400. Seat cover from pui with headrests around $189 leather one from opgi $700, seat foam around $150, new seat back side skirts trim and button with knob $300 to $400 labor to put it all together around $300 to $500. Now knowing all this if you can buy well done seats done correctly in the color you want expect $1200 to $1500. Leather add $400. If you can do better than the above price you better jump on them. I just redid mine myself and I have $1000 in them. The price above is for a pair. Personally on a 70 I like stock seat pattern best. No custom so with that in mind I would not give as much because they would need to be recovered correctly.

I agree. Redone seats are expensive when done right. Expect to pay up to 1500 for nice buckets w/ all new materials.

Cores vary depending on condition- $150 to 600. The cleaner, the better. The hidden insides contain moisture and the springs RUST. Even a clean set on the outside needs to be sanded and rust-converted (POR-15) usually inside.

While seats may cost $1000+ to have all the seats completely redone by a shop, to sell them afterwords will usually net much less...

The seats "feel like leather", which makes me think that they probably aren't real leather (leather is expensive)... "Custom" covers will probably be a hard-sell... IMO, MOST of the people I know looking for "stock" Chevelle seats (and willing to pay the going price for them), are looking for "correct" seats...

So, essentially, these will just be nice "cores" for most... Unless someone really likes the upholstery color/pattern... Many people wanting a "custom" seat, will also want a more modern seat (more comfort, more support, more features such as recline, etc)...

Then there's the economy... Then you have a more specific year for the back seat. 70-72 (limits you market)... Not sure if that rear seat will also fit in other earlier years... Of course, since they are not "Chevelle", your market opens to Cutlass/LeMans/Skylark, etc...

I agree.

I'd estimate that nice "custom" seats might sell around $500-$700 for the set...
