I am building a 1971 Chevelle SS clone and it has drum front brakes. Some one told me I could take the disk brake set up off a camaro and it will bolt right up. I was just wondering if anyone else has heard of this or if anyone has done it. If so what year camaros will work?

60 Camaro is the same but you will pay more for a Camaro set up then a Chevelle set the Camaros are more rare. You can do everything new including brakes, booster, master, everything for $550

Direct fit GM brakes that will work for you are 67-72 chevelle, el camino, tempest, cutlass or skylark. 67-69 camaro or firebird, 68-73 nova, apollo, omega, ventura.
As mentioned though, unless you have plenty of time on your hands, the kits have all NEW parts that you will need and are reasonably priced.
