Well, thanks to some help around here I took the carb off again. I inspected and retightened the carb body-base gasket, and then cleaned the carb liberally.

All seems well now..

Now if I could just get a wednesday off to hit up the track..

Excellent news, Marv!!! graemlins/hurray.gif Glad you checked back in and told us what the solution was. I've been as guilty as anyone in the past about fixing something and not saying what it was.

Now, I give a big "UPDATE: blah, blah,etc." You never know when your solution could be beneficial to someone suffering the same problem out there...
