Pulled out the seats and carpet today and found a pretty shady patch job on the floors. Does anyone have some pics on floor pans or any ideas on how to start them. the rear pan under seat looks good rear pan were your feet go is rotted right through brace looks good. should i buy the half pan and cut it in or just do some patching were needed and what do you do with it weld it in or is there other options.

Do you have a welder and some tools Frank, or somebody that has, or could weld it for you.

strip those pans down, get all the padding and stuff off them, so you can see exactly where the problem areas are.

I didn't know how to weld either, so I bought a welder and practiced on scrap, then butt welded the pans. Turned out great, you just need a lot of practice

Like Andy says clean it out and wire brush it or whatever, but find out what all is bad first.

Anyway you could put some pictures on.
