Hi Guys, Just wanted to let everyone know that the headers are not glowing anymore smile.gif I did not have anything to post until now--the car has not been touched for two weeks or so. It seems the problem was a vacuum leak caused by slop in the secondary throttle shaft--that is what we think at least. There was a lot of play there.
Ended up waiting a week and a half for a new carb, and it seems to have done the trick. We got the new carb on and it idles on it's own and no glow. graemlins/hurray.gif Thank all of you for the help and encouragement, it means a lot. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

To Sid, I don't know if we will be there or not--what weekend is it? I have not seen the Figs this year--have not checked the MCC page either.....anyway, we will see what is going on.
