Suddenly I am blowing fuses. If I turn the key to acc, radio works fine. The second I start the car the fuse blows! Where do I start looking for the problem?

The second I start the car the fuse blows! ?
The first thing that comes to mind is a bad ground to the block and or fender.
it's possibly pulling too much current through accessories when cranking trying to find a ground path :confused:
But then again, I think that circuit is bypassed while cranking anyway, but check it anyway.

Turns out that when we were replacing the valve cover gaskets I had to move the air cleaner and in doing so unhooked the wire to the electric choke and it was lying against metal and shorting through that wire. hooked it back up and everything works fine now.

Just for the record;
A bad ground will NOT cause a fuse to blow. :noway:
